R&J FISH, WINGS and THINGS originated as an idea by Robert Fountain, Jr. (Department of Public Safety employee) and Jacqueline (Jackie) Vann Fountain (retired Durham Police Officer), as they reflected on what their lives would entail following retirement. After careful consideration, they decided to transform their passion for cooking and entertaining into a business venture. October 2015—R&J Fish, Wings and Things was launched.
Robert and Jackie share a faithful love for God, for his abundant blessings, and their country--Robert having served in the United States Marines, and Jackie having served in the United States Army Reserves. The business motto “Where good food, family and friends meet” is indicative of their love for family. Today, R&J is a family owned business including Robert (R.J.) Fountain III, and Jackie’s sisters, Joan, Edna and Sharon.
